Frequently (May) Asked Questions (FAQ)

đź“… Development & Release

Q: When will the next update or chapter be released?
I don’t have a fixed schedule. I’m developing this project alongside academic work and trying to avoid burnout. Progress will happen at a sustainable pace. I won’t rush just to hit a deadline—I’d rather give you something honest and meaningful when it’s ready.

Q: Is this project abandoned or on hiatus?
No. As of this update, it’s still alive. But I’ll be honest—there are days I’m unsure how far I’ll get. If I ever choose to step away or shelve it, I’ll tell you clearly. Until then, I’ll keep moving forward—slowly, maybe, but with care.

Q: How far ahead is the story planned?
The full story is already written—but it’s being adjusted and expanded to fit the visual novel format. That means some pacing might change, some dialogue might deepen, and some scenes may grow into something more. What I release now is just the beginning. But the destination already exists.

🎮 Gameplay & Features

Q: Will there be gameplay? Like battles?
I’d like to include a turn-based battle system—immersive and optional. But I’m still experimenting. I can’t promise it’ll happen, or that it’ll be good. I’m a physics student, not a UI designer or game programmer. I’m learning as I go. If it works out, it’ll be a bonus—not the core.

Q: Will there be choices and multiple endings?
There will be choices, yes. But I’m not promising multiple endings—not in the traditional sense. This VN focuses closely on one main character and their relationship with the protagonist. To be blunt: sometimes, choices don’t change everything. They reveal you. They mock you. Not every story branches just because someone says a different line.

🧠 Story, Characters, Themes

Q: How long will the full story be?
I have a clear emotional and thematic arc in mind, but not all the chapters are fully mapped out yet. It will likely be a mid-length visual novel focused more on introspection, atmosphere, and character dynamics than a fast-paced plot.

Q: Is this a romance visual novel? Can I choose who to romance?
This story centers around a specific bond between the protagonist and a key character. There may be romantic elements—but they’re not customizable or “choose your route” style. The focus is emotional connection, not dating mechanics.

Q: Is the main character male or female? Can I choose their gender?
The protagonist is written with a fixed perspective—gender is not a selectable option. While introspective and sometimes ambiguous, the story is told from a defined lens for narrative coherence.

Q: Is the protagonist overpowered? Do they use knowledge from their world?
No and yes. The protagonist comes from another world—our world—but they hide that fact. They don’t show off modern science to win battles or amaze the locals. They observe. Wait. Think. They hold back because knowledge is power, and power draws suspicion. Maybe one day they’ll change everything. But if they do, it won’t be without consequences.

Q: What kind of themes does this story explore?
Themes include identity, moral conflict, emotional repression, societal expectations, survival, and dignity in the face of cruelty. This isn’t a light fantasy—it leans philosophical and psychological. If you like stories that ask hard questions, this may resonate.

🌍 Worldbuilding

Q: What kind of world is this? Are there humans, beastmen, monsters?
Yes. The world is inhabited by humans, beastmen, and monsters—but the lines between them are more political and moral than biological. Beastmen are often caught between two worlds: they speak, build, feel—but are still treated by some as closer to monsters.

There are races who see monsters as nothing more than threats to exterminate. Others try to understand them, or even communicate. Whether a “monster” is a beast to kill or a being to mourn depends on who’s looking. The story doesn’t give easy answers—it just asks you to sit with the questions.

Q: How does magic work here? Is it like science or totally separate?
In this world, magic and science aren’t enemies. People can practice both without conflict. Magic isn’t some unknowable mystery—it has structure, rules, even equations. But not everyone understands it equally. Some races guard their knowledge. Some steal it. Others are still catching up.

This balance—or imbalance—is one of the world’s quiet tensions. A world with both magic and science means you can have healing spells and surveillance devices… alchemy and chemical warfare. It’s beautiful. And dangerous.

⚠️ Content Warnings

Q: Is this safe for work? Any NSFW content?
No—this is not a safe-for-work visual novel. It contains pornographic and explicit sexual content, as well as mature themes such as violence, trauma, emotional breakdowns, and moral ambiguity.

However, none of this is gratuitous. NSFW scenes are story-driven, character-relevant, and written with emotional weight—not just for titillation. If you're looking for something light or purely erotic, this probably isn’t that. But if you're open to heavy themes and intimacy that serves narrative depth, it may resonate.

🧰 Technical & Creative

Q: Are you using AI to make this?
Yes. I am. I deeply admire human creativity, but I’m a physics student—not an artist or voice actor. So some things—backgrounds, sprites, and voice effects—come from AI tools or generators.

If that conflicts with your values, I understand, and I apologize. This project is personal for me, not commercial. I’m doing what I can with the tools I have to share something that matters to me.

đź’¬ Feedback & Support

Q: Can I give feedback or report issues?
Definitely. Whether you liked it or didn’t, I appreciate anyone who took time to try the game. And if you didn’t enjoy it, I’d genuinely appreciate hearing why. That kind of feedback helps me more than silence ever could.

Q: Can I support you or the project?
Right now, just playing, sharing, or commenting is already more than enough. I don’t receive donations, but I’ll be transparent if and when that happens.
