• Implemented character portraits with varied expressions to deepen emotional connection
• Added a UI box button for easier interaction
• Updated Garak’s sprite for better visual consistency
• Introduced new sprites for Guard and Kaal to expand the cast
• Added a typewriter-style text effect to enhance immersion
• Renamed the intro segment to Chapter 0: The Grey World
• Completed Chapter 1: The Unseen Path in full, bringing the story further than before

I want to start by thanking every single person who has downloaded—or even just peeked at—this project. Your interest and willingness to engage with something so personal is deeply humbling.

This update marks a milestone. Finishing Chapter 1 feels like closing a chapter in my own mental and creative journey. But I want to be transparent: this process hasn’t been easy. Balancing the project with academic responsibilities, emotional energy, and everything outside of writing and coding has tested me. There are moments when I’ve feared burnout, or losing the drive to continue.

I’m not here to promise a steady stream of updates or set a grand finish date. Right now, my only goal is to keep moving—however slowly—and keep sharing this world with those who find meaning in it.

Your feedback has been invaluable. When things feel rough or unfinished, hearing from you reminds me why I began this: not to make something perfect, but something honest. If you have thoughts, critiques, or even just a few kind words, please share them—they keep me grounded.
